Rain is Now Hail in SD

While everyone has been complaining about the rainy weather in San Diego, I've actually been loving it and would gladly take another month of it. It's the closest thing we have to changing seasons here and since I didn't see snow for Christmas, rain is the next best thing.
I was just heating up my afternoon snack and when I looked out the window, on the concrete steps were pea sized flecks of hail. I didn't even think it was cold enough to hail.
Regardless, life goes on and aside from bad drivers and accidents being heightened by the rain, I'm loving it.
