Lanvin Spring 2010

I haven't blogged for quite some time and believe me there's quite a bit to catch up on.  I've been ear deep in projects and have been completing things exceptionally on time.

Aside from football Sundays and Mondays, I've also been tending to my more feminine side reviewing the various collections for Spring 2010 and words can't express my love for Lanvin.  Season after season, the textured details made from clean palettes of bold fabrics absolutely express Alber Elbaz's vernacular in understanding drapery and shapes.

I've never been the frequent admirer of prints, so I heavily rely on textures of fabrics and their shapes to give my look dimension.  The majority of my ensembles are solid colored fabrics, contrasted with one another and accented with bold and unique accessories.  One could say that my clothing acts as a canvas, and my accessories the painted details.

I absolutely adore that even for spring, he does not fall into the typical expectations of prints or pre-dominantly using bright colors, in fact if it wasn't for the shorter hems, off the shoulder details and hits of looser fabrics, I could almost assume it was for Fall or Winter.

Just solidifies my love for Lanvin and Elbaz's crisp eye.  Though Karl Lagerfield has no intention of retiring, the rumor is that Alber Elbaz is next in line when he does.  He would do wonders fur Chanel!
