I can't believe that they're scrapping the franchise!  Spiderman was one of the few comic turned movies, during a time of crappy creations like X-Men, that I enjoyed.  On that note i'm so glad that Marvel began productions in house, but then sold out to the devil called Disney, so who knows what will happen now.

Though I can say that I can do without Kirsten Dunst and that Venom deserved so much more in the final chapter, I'm sad that they are choosing not to continue this on the path they started it on.  I wonder how the future franchise will choose to display the story.  One cool path would be to entirely leave Spiderman as it was and go towards the storyline of Iron Spider.
