Ozzy Here I Come!

w00t one more day and it's the Ozzy Osbourne book signing!  I like how Warwick's has it organized.  The only people that will be allowed in during the signing are those that purchased the book ahead of time and have a ticket with a designated time slot.

According to the book store, Ozzy will sign the book and anything else you bring within reason, in addition you can take pictures but he won't pose with anyone as it would slow the line.

For those of you that haven't got your book yet, there's still time.  Stop by Warwick's in La Jolla and they'll give you a designated time slot with purchase.  Ozzy will be starting the book signing at 6:30pm.

I'll be bringing the SLR to get some good pics and it'll be interesting to see how Ozzy is outside of a concert arena.  I've heard great reviews and the opening cover already has me willing to put my other books down temporarily just to read all the crazy things Ozzy has done in his life.  The last rocker bio I read about was Marilyn Manson and I'm working through a couple different ones for Led Zeppelin.

Here's the catching intro to Ozzy's book
"They've said some crazy things about me over the years. I mean ok: "He bit the head off a bat." Yes.  "He bit the head off a dove." Yes.  But then you hear things like, "Ozzy went to the show last night but he wouldn't perform until he'd killed fifteen puppies..." Now me, kill fifteen puppies? I love puppies.  I've got eighteen of the fucking things at home."

"It haunts me, all this crazy stuff.  Everyday of my life has been an event.  I took lethal combinations of booze and drugs for thirty fucking years.  I survived a direct hit by a plane, suicidal over doses, STDs. ... People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say...."

Interesting stuff!  Btw, with my ticket I'm allowed to bring another person.. anyone game?
