Dinner With Frank

There are a few rituals that I hold quite sacred and eating is definitely one of them.  I'm all about the experience, sensations and details, when it comes to the eating ceremonies, from when I start cooking, to when I sit down and take the first bite.

Last night we finally got to grilling and roasting some lamb and chicken that has been marinading for 48 hours and man I'm going to make a conscious effort to be patient and allow for proper marinading time from here on forth.

The layers of flavors were amazing.

The lamb'sicles were bathed in a blend of olive oil, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper, and the chicken in balsamic vinegar, honey and soy sauce.  I got the easy and amazing idea for the lamb from another foodie pal from "Dinner With Friends."

As I was preparing my dish, Frank Sinatra's "Come Fly With Me" came on, and it was the perfect soundtrack to a wonderful meal.

So after a night of training, before an evening of more work, there was a nice little vacation with different flavors.

Come on fly with me, we'll float down in the blue......
