While I had to bid adieu to my frequently dreamt about Nicholas Kirkwood Goat Hair shoes, inside I was silently mourning with the thought that there may never be another soul gripping unique shoe that would speak to me artistically again.

Little did I know that DSQUARED could resurrect the dead and place their spines on a disturbingly fantastic shoe.  The NAPPA Spine Heel is not for the casual seeker of something practical and ordinary, although with  the right posture and mixtures of self belief and creativity, this shoe could be pulled off and invoke the spirits of mass domination. 

Despite the 6-7" heel, forums and fans across the board are saying that the platform and angle actually make the shoe quite comfortable.  I prefer the Gladiator style to the right, as the full covered shoe makes it a bit more goth than avant garde.

Like the $1600 Kirkwoods (which eventually went on sale, but didn't have my size), these shoes are like an art investment but for the foot $1275.  You can purchase and make me envy you here.

One thing I love about DSQUARED is their accessories are just a bit dark and disturbed but in just the perfect dose, never crossing the line into Disneyland Haunted Mansion gimmicky.
